With a little luck, SOUTH AFRICA's Romeo Dominic got control of the ball when Evert Ahlrot tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 6th minute Romeo Mel shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alex Lundkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Vidar Markusson hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Romeo Dominic showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Valrot in the 9th minute of the match. In the 11th minute Frans Valrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Meadow Village's Alex Lundkvist played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Romeo Mel in the 14th minute of play. SOUTH AFRICA's Romeo Dominic proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 16th minute of the match, managed to save SOUTH AFRICA from getting a goal against them. If Romeo Mel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Meadow Village's Israel Polak got a free kick in the 20th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frans Valrot in the 24th minute of play forced SOUTH AFRICA's goalkeeper Romeo Dominic to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Romeo Dominic made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jarbas Sabóia in the 31st minute of play. Alex Lundkvist made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elvio Ted in the 32nd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Evert Ahlrot got free with Romeo Dominic in the 34th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Elvio Ted in the 39th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alex Lundkvist prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 40 minutes into the match, Frans Valrot had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Romeo Dominic. SOUTH AFRICA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Frans Valrot was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Evert Ahlrot could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Romeo Dominic made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Meadow Village's Jarbas Sabóia got a free kick in the 45th minute. 47 minutes into the match, Meadow Village's goal looked a bit too open when Artemio Jokin came free, but Alex Lundkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Evert Ahlrot stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute Evert Ahlrot shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Romeo Dominic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 53rd minute, Frans Valrot managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meadow Village's supporters rose to their feet, but Frans Valrot was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Romeo Dominic breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to SOUTH AFRICA getting a freekick after 57 minutes play. Artemio Jokin hit a great ball. 58 minutes into the match, SOUTH AFRICA's goal looked a bit too open when Evert Ahlrot came free, but Romeo Dominic reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Alex Lundkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Artemio Jokin's shot from short distance in the 59th minute. In the 60th minute of the match, Elvio Ted got a very nice opportunity to score, but Alex Lundkvist was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Alex Lundkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Artemio Jokin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alex Lundkvist made a fantastic save in the 63rd minute, when Romeo Mel sent off a good shot on target. Artemio Jokin could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Alex Lundkvist made a huge save. Alex Lundkvist was a little too slow when Artemio Jokin got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 93rd minute. The score was now 1-1. The SOUTH AFRICA players were the happier at the end of the match as they had prevented Meadow Village from taking control. The game ends in a draw.
