Isidro Christobal tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, DEPOTIVO SJ's Jonathan Marko got a free kick in the 10th minute. 12 minutes into the match, DEPOTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Castulo. Isidro Christobal had great luck who in the 13thth minute grab hold of the ball when Nunez Berasko from a short distance tried to put the ball inside the right post. Argentino de Banfield's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Raimundo Castulo in the 14th minute. A well done corner resulted in Nunez Berasko drilling the ball in to score 1-0 behind DEPOTIVO SJ's goalkeeper. Raimundo Castulo's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Isidro Christobal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 18th minute of play. Argentino de Banfield were awarded a corner in the 19th minute after DEPOTIVO SJ's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Raimundo Castulo took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Raimundo Castulo got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Isidro Christobal quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 21 minutes into the match, DEPOTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Castulo. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Lucio Balesio, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. Raimundo Castulo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 25th minute of the match, but Isidro Christobal made a huge save. With a little luck, DEPOTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal got control of the ball when Raimundo Castulo tried to sneak it across the goal line. In the 29th minute Filiberto Bermudez shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Leonides Valentine saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 33 minutes into the match, DEPOTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Raimundo Castulo. Filiberto Bermudez scored 1-1 in the 35th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Leonides Valentine, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. DEPOTIVO SJ's Isidro Christobal proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 41st minute of the match, managed to save DEPOTIVO SJ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Lavan Querubin in the 41st minute of play forced DEPOTIVO SJ's goalkeeper Isidro Christobal to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 45 minutes into the game, Timoteo Sazon was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. DEPOTIVO SJ's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Argentino de Banfield the free kick. After 45 played minutes DEPOTIVO SJ got a freekick which was hit by Timoteo Sazon. An unexpectedly hard shot by Filiberto Bermudez in the 46th minute of play forced Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Leonides Valentine showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filiberto Bermudez, who was totally free with the ball in the 46th minute. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.
The wind increased when Nunez Berasko made the kick off in the second half. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Castulo in the 54th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Isidro Christobal prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 59 minutes into the match, Argentino de Banfield's goalkeeper Leonides Valentine had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Filiberto Bermudez. In the 60th minute DEPOTIVO SJ were awarded a corner. Filiberto Bermudez went to the cornerflag to take it. A nice corner shot did that Mario Ezkerra got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Leonides Valentine quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Danilo Jobo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. After some careless play in the DEPOTIVO SJ defense, Raimundo Castulo kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Isidro Christobal. The DEPOTIVO SJ fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Isidro Christobal should have stopped the shot. In the 68th minute Aurelio Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Lucio Balesio hit a great freekick 75 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Raimundo Castulo in the 76th minute a chance for a shot on goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 78th minute, Raimundo Castulo managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argentino de Banfield's supporters rose to their feet, but Raimundo Castulo was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Isidro Christobal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 82nd minute, Nunez Berasko left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Argentino de Banfield fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-1. In the 87th minute Aurelio Nesor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Isidro Christobal saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 88 minutes into the match, DEPOTIVO SJ's goal looked a bit too open when Aurelio Nesor came free, but Isidro Christobal reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Isidro Christobal came out of the goal in the 94th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentino de Banfield's Aurelio Nesor. But to his dismay, Aurelio Nesor quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 5-1. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Argentino de Banfield had played much better football throughout.
