If Genaro Hever had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 7 played minutes Club Deportivo Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Svetlozar Radomirski. After 8 played minutes Elpidio Lehior rounded Club Deportivo Progreso's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-0. Vergil Karakolev made a fantastic save in the 13th minute, when Pedro Ospetsu sent off a good shot on target. Julio Favila received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 14th minute. Vergil Karakolev tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 19 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's goalkeeper Vergil Karakolev had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ezequiel Modestio. Jonatan Herensuge charged in rather forcefully in the 20th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Jonatan Herensuge the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 21st minute, Jonatan Herensuge hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Vergil Karakolev showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Elpidio Lehior, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. With a little luck, Club Deportivo Progreso's Vergil Karakolev got control of the ball when Elpidio Lehior tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Club Deportivo Progreso's zone, Ezequiel Modestio stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Vergil Karakolev came out of the goal and Ezequiel Modestio tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 37th minute, Elpidio Lehior left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The LA PANDILLA LOCA fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. When Emanuil Kusitasev fell near the penalty area in the 43rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Club Deportivo Progreso's protests and gave Emanuil Kusitasev a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of LA PANDILLA LOCA booed when Club Deportivo Progreso was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 43 match minutes in a wonderful position. Emanuil Kusitasev didn't get a good kick on the ball. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-0 at half-time.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Emanuil Kusitasev to strike the kick off in the second half. After 50 played minutes Club Deportivo Progreso got a freekick which was hit by Svetlozar Radomirski. In the 52nd minute, Elpidio Lehior made a precise shot to the right of Vergil Karakolev. Club Deportivo Progreso's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 5-0. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Progreso's Donyo Irinchev got a free kick in the 56th minute. A collision led to LA PANDILLA LOCA getting a freekick after 59 minutes play. Ezequiel Modestio hit a great ball. Emanuil Kusitasev's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Virgilio Kiliz read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 60th minute of play. When Ezequiel Modestio fell near the penalty area in the 61st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. Vergil Karakolev was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Vergil Karakolev took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Elpidio Lehior, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ezequiel Modestio in the 80th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Vergil Karakolev prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Vergil Karakolev didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Ezequiel Modestio went, in the 81st minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. Vergil Karakolev made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Elpidio Lehior in the 84th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Elpidio Lehior came free, but Vergil Karakolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Elpidio Lehior in the 89th minute of play forced Club Deportivo Progreso's goalkeeper Vergil Karakolev to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 90th minute, Svetlozar Radomirski hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Elpidio Lehior fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Vergil Karakolev having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Club Deportivo Progreso's Toshko Gatzev got a free kick in the 93rd minute. 96 minutes into the match, Club Deportivo Progreso's goal looked a bit too open when Pedro Ospetsu came free, but Vergil Karakolev reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. LA PANDILLA LOCA's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
