Todor Toribia took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Vergil Karakolev. Vergil Karakolev dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-1. AVITOHOL's Arixo Bujia proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 28th minute of the match, managed to save AVITOHOL from getting a goal against them. Emanuil Kusitasev scored 2-1 in the 34th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Arixo Bujia, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 42nd minute, Todor Toribia ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Vergil Karakolev was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-3. Svetlozar Radomirski hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. After 48 minutes of play, AVITOHOL's Braulio Alaniz made it 2-4 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Vergil Karakolev was left in no man's land by his defense there! Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 2-4 lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Braulio Alaniz to make the kick off. If Svetlozar Radomirski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Club Deportivo Progreso getting a freekick after 55 minutes play. Zheko Velinov hit a great ball. Arixo Bujia came out of the goal in the 59th minute to try and stop a shot by Club Deportivo Progreso's Emanuil Kusitasev. But to his dismay, Emanuil Kusitasev quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-4. After having played for 62 minutes, Svetlozar Radomirski managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Club Deportivo Progreso's supporters crossed their fingers, but Svetlozar Radomirski was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Telmo Irigoyen kicked well hit freekick during the 63rd minute of the match. In the 65th match minute, AVITOHOL was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Todor Toribia to maneuver through the defense. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuil Kusitasev in the 67th minute of play forced AVITOHOL's goalkeeper Arixo Bujia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Maurilio Merayo fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored AVITOHOL's protests and gave Maurilio Merayo a yellow card for diving instead. Club Deportivo Progreso made a substitution. Evlogi Gaganelov replaced Zheko Velinov. After a rather tough play, AVITOHOL's Maurilio Merayo got a free kick in the 68th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as AVITOHOL's Maurilio Merayo slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Vergil Karakolev. That made the score 3-5 after 72 minutes of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Braulio Alaniz got free with Vergil Karakolev in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Club Deportivo Progreso were furious when Toshko Gatzev was red carded, 78 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Arixo Bujia was left in no man's land by his defense there! Arixo Bujia showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuil Kusitasev, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. The AVITOHOL players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
