The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Ahmet Çağrı Özdoa during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Ovidio Oto was out of position in the 13 minute of play, and Kadri Coşan capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Kadri Coşan really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. After 16 played minutes Under 18 Universe got a freekick which was hit by Ümit Akersoy. When Atalan Maruf fell near the penalty area in the 18th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under 18 Universe's protests and gave Atalan Maruf a yellow card for diving instead. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Under 18 Universe! In the 25th minute, Evaristo Guilabertus made a precise shot to the right of Tahsin Orguntay. Under 18 Universe's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Cirilo Chayo hit a great ball. Kadri Coşan received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidio Oto came out and tried to block the shot, but Kadri Coşan slotted it home off the left post making it 2-2 in the 29th minute. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ümit Akersoy in the 33rd minute of play. 36 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Hulusi Berkman. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 38th minute of the match, managed to save OLYMPIACOS FC from getting a goal against them. When Evaristo Guilabertus came up free with the goalie in the 39th minute, the OLYMPIACOS FC fans jumped to their feet. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 55th minute, Evaristo Guilabertus reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Tahsin Orguntay. The goal made the score 2-3. 59 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Osman Ali Seyyid came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ovidio Oto showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Kadri Coşan in the 61st minute of the match. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 63 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ramiro Lore didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Oto took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Berkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ümit Akersoy kicked well hit freekick during the 72nd minute of the match. Ovidio Oto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Hulusi Berkman went, in the 75th minute, to the upper right corner, 3-3 was the resulting score. After a rather tough play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Constantino Felipo got a free kick in the 79th minute. In the 79th minute of the match Atalan Maruf sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ovidio Oto skillfully saved the ball. Görkem Mümtaz charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down.
