Through an outstanding action, after 7 minutes, Ovidio Oto successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Eulalio Vincent sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Evaristo Guilabertus in the 16th minute of play forced Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Edelmiro Derwin hit a great freekick 23 minutes into the match. Ovidio Oto didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Eulalio Vincent went, in the 25th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. Maximo Cutberto struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Ovidio Oto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Galáctico Azul FC™. Generoso Michael could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Ovidio Oto made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Ovidio Oto. That made the score 2-0 after 38 minutes of play. In the 42ndth minute of the game Eulalio Vincent who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Victor Bernabel had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 2-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute, Victor Bernabel left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Galáctico Azul FC™ fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-0. 56 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goalkeeper Enrique Belasko had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Eliseo Eduino. In the 59th minute Generoso Michael shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 60 minutes play. Eliseo Eduino hit a great ball. Galáctico Azul FC™ made a substitution. Casimiro Ellande replaced Gaspar Magdaleno. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Jose Tiso was substituted for Maximo Cutberto. Eliseo Eduino hit a great freekick 61 minutes into the match. In the 65th minute, Alfredo Xabel hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 69th minute Eulalio Vincent shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ovidio Oto saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A nice corner shot did that Alfredo Xabel got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Ovidio Oto quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Everardo Bermudez's late challenge caught a Galáctico Azul FC™'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Everardo Bermudez helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Everardo Bermudez didn't get a good kick on the ball. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Eulalio Vincent, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. In the 77th match minute, OLYMPIACOS FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Evaristo Guilabertus to maneuver through the defense. 78 minutes into the match, Eulalio Vincent notched a goal, 4-0, to the right of OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Casimiro Ellande in the 82nd minute of play. Ovidio Oto showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Generoso Michael, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. 90 minutes into the game, Casimiro Ellande cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Ovidio Oto was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Generoso Michael took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ovidio Oto. Ovidio Oto dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 6-0. OLYMPIACOS FC's players left the field with heads hung low after losing a match that had been finely balanced throughout.
