The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 6th match minute, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sobah Al Mulaifi to maneuver through the defense. After 8 played minutes, Under 18 Universe's Asrın Peyami shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Meshal Al Sayer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Under 18 Universe reached it. Meshal Al Sayer took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Kadri Coşan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Kadri Coşan took the ball and in the 11 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Meshal Al Sayer. Meshal Al Sayer dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. 16 minutes into the match, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goal looked a bit too open when Ümit Akersoy came free, but Meshal Al Sayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The supporters of Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ booed when Under 18 Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 17 match minutes in a wonderful position. Samim Kolçak didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 19 minutes, Balamir Taykoç mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Under 18 Universe and the Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ players grew even worse after the yellow card. The supporters of Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ booed when Under 18 Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Balamir Taykoç didn't get a good kick on the ball. A hard shot by Hani Al Mothaf from long distance, 20 minutes into the match, got Tahsin Orguntay's attention. Through a fast twist with his body, he could stop the ball from going in on his right side. When Hussain Al Homaithe fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's protests and gave Hussain Al Homaithe a yellow card for diving instead. Meshal Al Sayer came out of the goal in the 24th minute to try and stop a shot by Under 18 Universe's Kadri Coşan. But to his dismay, Kadri Coşan quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ümit Akersoy in the 27th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Meshal Al Sayer prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 40th match minute, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hussain Al Homaithe to maneuver through the defense. After 42 played minutes, Under 18 Universe's Asrın Peyami shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Meshal Al Sayer came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Under 18 Universe reached it. When Talib Al Besher was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 47 minutes had been played. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.
Mnawer Al Shati fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tahsin Orguntay having to interfere. When Under 18 Universe's Ümit Akersoy in the 63rd minute got a chance for a shot 63rd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goalie prevented a goal. After having played for 65 minutes, Hulusi Berkman managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Under 18 Universe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Hulusi Berkman was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Meshal Al Sayer got control of the ball when Kadri Coşan tried to sneak it across the goal line. Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's Meshal Al Sayer proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 71st minute of the match, managed to save Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ from getting a goal against them. The audience was convinced that Hulusi Berkman's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Meshal Al Sayer was relentless in the 73rd minute of the game. After having played for 76 minutes, Ümit Akersoy managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Under 18 Universe's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ümit Akersoy was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. If Ümit Akersoy had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 77th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 82 minutes into the game, Ümit Akersoy cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-3. Meshal Al Sayer was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. 86 minutes into the match, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goal looked a bit too open when Hulusi Berkman came free, but Meshal Al Sayer reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 92 minutes into the match, Fan Cup FC - ⓈⒶⒻⒻ's goalkeeper Meshal Al Sayer had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadri Coşan.
