The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Gaspar Magdaleno was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 6th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Enrique Belasko played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciriaco Oinaz in the 13th minute of play. Gaspar Magdaleno recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 17 minutes into the match, Galáctico Azul FC™'s goal looked a bit too open when Clemente Martino came free, but Enrique Belasko reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Faustino Aimar kicked well hit freekick during the 18th minute of the match. Fernando Elodio hit a great freekick 30 minutes into the match. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 34th minute of the game. One of Galáctico Azul FC™:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ:s goal. The supporters of Galáctico Azul FC™ booed when ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 40 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fernando Elodio didn't get a good kick on the ball. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Eulalio Vincent made a kick off. 51 minutes into the game, Galáctico Azul FC™'s Eulalio Vincent nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Jaime Afonso made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 2-0. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Ciriaco Oinaz got a good chance for a goal in the 59th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. When Erasmo Celino came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Galáctico Azul FC™ fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Erasmo Celino couldn't finish the play. Galáctico Azul FC™'s Casimiro Ellande was substituted for Gaspar Magdaleno. Enrique Belasko showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Clemente Martino, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. Enrique Belasko didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 75th minute, which inside left pole to 2-1. 80 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goal looked a bit too open when Eulalio Vincent came free, but Jaime Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 83 minutes into the game, Guillermo Miliano was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Jose Tiso during the 85th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 86 minutes in the game Justino Filipo after having made a beautiful turn got a great opportunity to score and fired away a shot that went just to the left past a relieved Enrique Belasko. A very good opportunity. In the 89th match minute, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Faustino Aimar to maneuver through the defense. 91 minutes into the match, Casimiro Ellande notched a goal, 3-1, to the right of ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso. Jaime Afonso was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Eulalio Vincent received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Jaime Afonso tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Galáctico Azul FC™ had won after a very even match.
