Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Kadri Coşan got the match started through his kick off. Manos Kostetsos charged in rather forcefully in the 2nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Manos Kostetsos the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Under 18 Universe booed when ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 2 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manos Kostetsos didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Under 18 Universe's Görkem Mümtaz in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goalie prevented a goal. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Atalan Maruf in the 11th minute of play. If Hulusi Berkman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 14th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 15th match minute, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Manos Kostetsos to maneuver through the defense. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Sokratis Koutsokefalakis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Görkem Mümtaz in the 16th minute of play. When Atalan Maruf fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Under 18 Universe's protests and gave Atalan Maruf a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ booed when Under 18 Universe was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Atalan Maruf didn't get a good kick on the ball. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's Vaggelis Veliadis shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 28th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Tahsin Orguntay but with some difficulty. 29 minutes into the match, Thrasivoulos Iatridis notched a goal, 1-3, to the right of Under 18 Universe's Tahsin Orguntay. Tahsin Orguntay was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 36th minute, Kadri Coşan made a precise shot to the right of Sokratis Koutsokefalakis. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-4. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Kadri Coşan, who was totally free with the ball in the 41st minute. In the 43rd minute, Hulusi Berkman ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-5. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Spyros Batiris made a kick off. When Manos Kostetsos was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. After 52 played minutes ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ got a freekick which was hit by Manos Kostetsos. 55 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goalkeeper Sokratis Koutsokefalakis had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Kadri Coşan. Through an outstanding action, after 64 minutes, Sokratis Koutsokefalakis successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's defense didn't have a chance, in the 65th minute, when Hulusi Berkman scored to the left of an out of position Sokratis Koutsokefalakis, making the score, 1-6. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hulusi Berkman, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience thought a goal was coming when Hulusi Berkman got free with Sokratis Koutsokefalakis in the 75th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Osman Ali Seyyid came up free with the goalie in the 83rd minute, the Under 18 Universe fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Osman Ali Seyyid couldn't finish the play. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis made an important save on a dangerous shot by Kadri Coşan in the 86th minute. In the 88th minute, Kadri Coşan left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Under 18 Universe fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-8. 95 minutes into the match, ΚΑΝΑΡΙΑ's goal looked a bit too open when Kadri Coşan came free, but Sokratis Koutsokefalakis reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Sokratis Koutsokefalakis made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ümit Akersoy in the 96th minute of play.
