Everardo Bermudez fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iker Azubeli having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Godfredo Firman in the 5th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Ovidio Oto saved OLYMPIACOS FC from getting behind. When Evaristo Guilabertus fell near the penalty area in the 11th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored OLYMPIACOS FC's protests and gave Evaristo Guilabertus a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ⲨⲀⲚⲀ booed when OLYMPIACOS FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 11 match minutes in a wonderful position. Evaristo Guilabertus didn't get a good kick on the ball. With a little luck, ⲨⲀⲚⲀ's Iker Azubeli got control of the ball when Ramiro Lore tried to sneak it across the goal line. Eliseo Eduino struck a weak shot in the 19th minute. Iker Azubeli didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLYMPIACOS FC. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Evaristo Guilabertus managed to get in a good position for a shot. OLYMPIACOS FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Evaristo Guilabertus was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Azubeli breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Eliseo Eduino blasted a shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Iker Azubeli having to make a save. Ovidio Oto made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Abel Maldonado in the 45th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Godfredo Firman to strike the kick off in the second half. When Froilan Dantae fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. OLYMPIACOS FC's Ovidio Oto played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Godfredo Firman in the 77th minute of play. Iker Azubeli made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ramiro Lore in the 78th minute of play. In the 82nd match minute, ⲨⲀⲚⲀ was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luis Elia to maneuver through the defense. Iker Azubeli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Evaristo Guilabertus in the 85th minute of the match. 89 minutes into the game, OLYMPIACOS FC's Everardo Bermudez nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Iker Azubeli made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Evaristo Kaiet lost his temper 93 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Evaristo Kaiet hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Modesto Ugaitz received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ovidio Oto came out and tried to block the shot, but Modesto Ugaitz slotted it home off the left post making it 1-1 in the 95th minute. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
