In the 7th minute, Clemente Martino made a precise shot to the right of Ovidio Oto. OLYMPIACOS FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. If Ramiro Lore had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 18th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Justino Filipo kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Bruno Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oto having to interfere. Rodolfo Pelagius kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 34 minutes into the match, ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's goal looked a bit too open when Eliseo Eduino came free, but Jaime Afonso reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Ciriaco Oinaz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 36th minute. Ovidio Oto tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 41 minutes of play, OLYMPIACOS FC's Rodolfo Pelagius made it 1-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Jaime Afonso was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 44th minute, Dante Chico hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to OLYMPIACOS FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Constantino Felipo hit a great ball. Ovidio Oto made an important save on a dangerous shot by Bruno Quiroga in the 48th minute. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Clemente Martino made a kick off. Bruno Quiroga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 54th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Ovidio Oto having to interfere. 56 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Oinaz came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After 60 played minutes OLYMPIACOS FC got a freekick which was hit by Eusebio Eate. After a defensive mix-up in OLYMPIACOS FC's zone, Honorio Vela stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ovidio Oto came out of the goal and Honorio Vela tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Jaime Afonso showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Guilabertus, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. Nestor Quilo's late challenge caught a OLYMPIACOS FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Nestor Quilo helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Quilo hit a great freekick 69 minutes into the match. Ramiro Lore struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Jaime Afonso didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for OLYMPIACOS FC. 74 minutes into the match, OLYMPIACOS FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ciriaco Oinaz came free, but Ovidio Oto reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ's Jaime Afonso proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 76th minute of the match, managed to save ⳊⲀⳐⲀ́ⲤⲦⳔⲤⲞⲊ from getting a goal against them. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fernando Elodio in the 78th minute of play forced OLYMPIACOS FC's goalkeeper Ovidio Oto to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Jaime Afonso made a fantastic save in the 87th minute, when Eliseo Eduino sent off a good shot on target.
