Casper Claes didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Kisnána MTK. With a little luck, Belgium's Casper Claes got control of the ball when Ákos Benkô tried to sneak it across the goal line. Edward Vanderstraeten scored 0-1 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Dávid Bihari, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Edward Vanderstraeten in the 13th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dávid Bihari prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Belgium's Simon Sabbe was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Dávid Bihari in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 17th minute, Ákos Benkô ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Casper Claes was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edward Vanderstraeten in the 22nd minute of play forced Kisnána MTK's goalkeeper Dávid Bihari to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ádám Nemes sent away a hard shot on goal in the 23rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dávid Bihari showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edward Vanderstraeten in the 30th minute of the match. Norbert Puskás who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 31stth minute tested the skills of Casper Claes when he managed to save the team from getting behind. In the 36th minute Yves Dervaux shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dávid Bihari saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten in the 40th minute got a chance for a shot 40th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Kisnána MTK's goalie prevented a goal. In the 46th minute the ball was on its way in behind Kisnána MTK's goalkeeper Dávid Bihari, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The Kisnána MTK players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Belgium were winning 1-2.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Edward Vanderstraeten to make the kick off. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dávid Bihari read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 50th minute of play. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dávid Bihari firmly grabbed it by the left post. Belgium's Casper Claes played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Marcell Szegh in the 55th minute of play. Dávid Bihari made a fantastic save in the 57th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. After 60 minutes Kisnána MTK's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Edward Vanderstraeten who took care of the corner kick. The corner led Belgium's Edward Vanderstraeten to fire away a dangerous shot which Dávid Bihari despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. A collision led to Kisnána MTK getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Zénó Moravecz hit a great ball. After 69 played minutes Kisnána MTK got a freekick which was hit by Zénó Moravecz. Dávid Bihari made a fantastic save in the 70th minute, when Edward Vanderstraeten sent off a good shot on target. Ákos Benkô hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Siebe Michiels's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Dávid Bihari firmly grabbed it by the left post. The audience thought a goal was coming when Edward Vanderstraeten got free with Dávid Bihari in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Edward Vanderstraeten's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 83rdth minute, Dávid Bihari skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Edward Vanderstraeten could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 84th minute of the match, but Dávid Bihari made a huge save. Simon Földesi made in the 91st minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Medárd Budai. 92 minutes into the match, Ákos Benkô had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Casper Claes. Belgium's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ákos Benkô was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-2. The second half was just like the first, even and exciting. The match ended in a draw.
