Germany's Tommy Kahn played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Petr Trnka in the 27th minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Saul Goi got free with Tommy Kahn in the 40th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chesterfield were awarded a corner in the 42th minute after Germany's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Ariel Abeijon took the corner. Chesterfield's Ariel Abeijon was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Tommy Kahn in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. The audience thought a goal was coming when Cosme Chale got free with Tommy Kahn in the 48th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The score stood at 1-1 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Frank Sachs was the one to do the kick off. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Sachs got free with 俞军景 in the 51st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chesterfield's Godofredo Ciceron was substituted for Gwidon Pawelczyk. Aurelio Fidensio kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Godofredo Ciceron blasted a shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Tommy Kahn having to make a save. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
