With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mario Iturralde prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 27 minutes Jamaicafastfoot's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was David Barbier who took care of the corner kick. After taking down the ball on France's corner Remy Dupuy fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Mario Iturralde quite easily take care of the ball. Mario Iturralde showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frank Peletier in the 30th minute of the match. In the 32nd minute of the match France got a corner. Jamaicafastfoot's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. David Barbier ran over to the corner to take the kick. A nice corner shot did that David Barbier got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Mario Iturralde quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. A collision led to France getting a freekick after 33 minutes play. Camille Baume hit a great ball. With an all-out effort, Jamaicafastfoot's Maxime Durand threw himself towards the right post 34 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Conrado Cesario, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. After some careless play in the Jamaicafastfoot defense, Camille Baume kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mario Iturralde. The Jamaicafastfoot fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mario Iturralde should have stopped the shot. Jamaicafastfoot's Mario Iturralde played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 44th minute of play. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Florencio Velasco was the one to do the kick off. Jamaicafastfoot's Mario Iturralde proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 81st minute of the match, managed to save Jamaicafastfoot from getting a goal against them. 84 minutes into the match, Jamaicafastfoot's goalkeeper Mario Iturralde had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frank Peletier.
