Spectators: 50 (Terracing: 38, Seating: 11, VIP seats: 1) Manly FC's Rob Burton started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. After 2 minutes, Sune Heidal mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Monks in Robes and the Manly FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. Sune Heidal kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Yao Chao Feng during the 4th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Monks in Robes's Yao Chao Feng got a free kick in the 4th minute. The audience thought a goal was coming when Rob Burton got free with Bøje Dyssen in the 9th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Rob Burtons short, quick shot in the 11thth minute got Bøje Dyssen to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. A throw-in in the 14th minute of the game was made by Yao Chao Feng with Kenny Ebsøe as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. Kenny Ebsøe took the ball and in the 15 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Sydney Ross. Sydney Ross dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Sydney Ross showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Reinar Lennild, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Elliott, who was totally free with the ball in the 23rd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sune Heidal in the 29th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Sydney Ross saved Manly FC from getting behind. In the 30th minute of the match Monks in Robes got a corner. Manly FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Edward Pracki ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Sune Heidal almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Manly FC's Sydney Ross did a great save. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rob Burton in the 34th minute of the match. 45 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goalkeeper Bøje Dyssen had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Rob Burton. If Kenny Ebsøe had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Sydney Ross took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sune Heidal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sune Heidal was the one to do the kick off. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Elliott, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. After 62 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Monks in Robes! Monks in Robes:s Bøje Dyssen showed great skill when he stopped Mourad Rocchi:s penalty. Bøje Dyssen showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Harvey Elliott in the 73rd minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Manly FC's zone, Kenny Ebsøe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sydney Ross came out of the goal and Kenny Ebsøe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Monks in Robes's Kenny Ebsøe got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Monks in Robes made a substitution. Frode Numelin replaced Sune Heidal. Monks in Robes's Kenny Ebsøe got a good chance for a goal in the 86th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Sydney Ross made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Frode Numelin sent off a good shot on target. Bøje Dyssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Rob Burton in the 95th minute of play. Neither Manly FC or Monks in Robes succeeded in finding a winner during the second half. That meant the players faced another 30 minutes of extra-time.

After resting during the break, the players from both teams went out on the field looking very concentrated. It was now first half of the overtime. Rob Burton made the kick off and play began. A collision led to Manly FC getting a freekick after 105 minutes play. Bray Paull hit a great ball. Bøje Dyssen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Harvey Elliott, who was totally free with the ball in the 108th minute. Edward Pracki made a great header on Monks in Robes's corner, it was just that Manly FC's Sydney Ross managed to reach the ball for a save. In the 113th match minute, Monks in Robes was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Holger Blachmann to maneuver through the defense. The score was still level after an even and exciting first-half in extra time. The players took a moment to grab a drink and get instructions from their managers before swapping ends.

Everyone could clearly see that both Monks in Robes's and Manly FC's players was becoming tired in their legs when Monks in Robes's Frode Numelin did the kick off in the second half of the overtime. Frode Numelin who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 122ndth minute tested the skills of Sydney Ross when he managed to save the team from getting behind. 127 minutes into the match, Manly FC's goal looked a bit too open when Kenny Ebsøe came free, but Sydney Ross reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Edward Pracki fell near the penalty area in the 131st minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Monks in Robes's protests and gave Edward Pracki a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Monks in Robes getting a freekick after 131 minutes play. Edward Pracki hit a great ball. 132 minutes into the match, Monks in Robes's goal looked a bit too open when Rob Burton came free, but Bøje Dyssen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bøje Dyssen made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Harvey Elliott in the 133rd minute of play. Monks in Robes's Edward Pracki got his second yellow card of the match in the 134th minute. The referee ordered Edward Pracki off the ground. The supporters of Manly FC booed when Monks in Robes was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 134 match minutes in a wonderful position. Edward Pracki didn't get a good kick on the ball.

The goalkeeper, Bøje Dyssen, was totally fooled by Manly FC's Mourad Rocchi, who 137 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Manly FC:s Bøje Dyssen showed great skill when he stopped Frode Numelin:s penalty. Frode Numelin shot a long shot in the 138th minute and a light blocked Sydney Ross hadn't a chance when the ball went into goal on his right side. It was 2-2. The goalkeeper, Bøje Dyssen, was totally fooled by Manly FC's Francesco Baresi, who 140 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 141st minute there was a penalty for Monks in Robes. Reinar Lennild stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Sydney Ross. 3-3. Monks in Robes:s Bøje Dyssen showed great skill when he stopped Paz Trezise:s penalty. The score was 3-4 after a penalty in the 144th minute, where Monks in Robes:s Dennis Kølbel tricked Manly FC:s Sydney Ross with a difficult ball by the left post. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Monks in Robes walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
