Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Qiu Feng Guo made the kick off which started today's match. Altermundi FC's Rogelio Luco got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Ysmael Alemparte didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Qiu Feng Guo went, in the 6th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Kristiaan Van den Haute in the 10th minute of play forced Altermundi FC's goalkeeper Ysmael Alemparte to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Rogelio Luco managed to get in a good position for a shot. Altermundi FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Luco was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Iker Carabajal breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Rogelio Luco had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When the match had gone on for 20 minutes, Rogelio Luco took a quick shot and it went in 1-1 without a chance for Iker Carabajal to make any attempt to save it. After a rather tough play, Altermundi FC's Pío Ducoing got a free kick in the 23rd minute. After a defensive mix-up in Altermundi FC's zone, Big Boba stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Alemparte came out of the goal and Big Boba tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Rainerio Buche during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Rainerio Buche kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Altermundi FC's zone, Qiu Feng Guo stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ysmael Alemparte came out of the goal and Qiu Feng Guo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Rogelio Luco's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Iker Carabajal read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 33rd minute of play. Altermundi FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Pío Ducoing in the 34th minute. Ysmael Alemparte showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Big Boba in the 38th minute of the match. Aureliano Gorbea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Alain Van Huruck hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The wind increased when Rogelio Luco made the kick off in the second half. Big Boba hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. The supporters of Purple Talents booed when Altermundi FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 64 match minutes in a wonderful position. Pío Ducoing didn't get a good kick on the ball. Big Boba took the ball and in the 65 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Ysmael Alemparte. Ysmael Alemparte dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-2. Iker Carabajal showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Rogelio Luco in the 68th minute of the match. Ysmael Alemparte made a fantastic save in the 69th minute, when Kristiaan Van den Haute sent off a good shot on target. Kristiaan Van den Haute's late challenge caught a Altermundi FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Kristiaan Van den Haute helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Purple Talents's Kristiaan Van den Haute got a free kick in the 74th minute. In the 78th minute of the match Altermundi FC got a corner. Purple Talents's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Pío Ducoing ran over to the corner to take the kick. Aureliano Gorbea hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. Big Boba could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 86th minute of the match, but Ysmael Alemparte made a huge save. In the 90th minute, Rogelio Luco got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 91 minutes, Santiago Koffidis mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Purple Talents and the Altermundi FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 91 played minutes Purple Talents got a freekick which was hit by Santiago Koffidis.
The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Purple Talents eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
