Netherlands's Arnout Reekers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Víctor Osimhen in the 18th minute of play. After 31 minutes of play, Netherlands's Gijsbert ter Kruimer made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Thanks to some nice moves Nicola Zalewski could shoot a difficult shot in the 36th minute, which Arnout Reekers however easily saved by the left post. Arnout Reekers took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Víctor Osimhen, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Chadlerense's goalkeeper Damaso Navarro to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 42 minutes into the match, S.D. Chadlerense's goal looked a bit too open when Wim Wilmes came free, but Damaso Navarro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 43rd minute Gustaaf Groeneveldt shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Damaso Navarro saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Nicola Zalewski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Víctor Osimhen stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 66th minute of the match, Gijsbert ter Kruimer tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Damaso Navarro saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line.
