Oséas Baptista showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Nunez Berasko, who was totally free with the ball in the 15th minute. A collision led to Argentino de Banfield getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Dalmacio Daunte hit a great ball. In the 20th minute of the match, Raimundo Castulo tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Oséas Baptista saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. In the 29th minute, Rik Hello ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leonides Valentine was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. Oséas Baptista made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Aurelio Nesor in the 31st minute of play. Omar Rosalio came free with the goalkeeper in the 33rd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Oséas Baptista could save by the left post. After a rather tough play, Militros F.C.'s Betão Machado got a free kick in the 34th minute. Militros F.C.'s Oséas Baptista played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Aurelio Nesor in the 36th minute of play. When Radomir Zieba fell near the penalty area in the 39th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Militros F.C.'s protests and gave Radomir Zieba a yellow card for diving instead. In the 39th match minute, Militros F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Radomir Zieba to maneuver through the defense. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Raimundo Castulo stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After 76 minutes of play, Argentino de Banfield's Aurelio Nesor made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Oséas Baptista was left in no man's land by his defense there! Militros F.C. made a substitution. Wanderson Valencia replaced Betão Machado. When the match had gone on for 81 minutes, Raimundo Castulo put it in 3-1 from a short distance just to the right of Oséas Baptista. Oséas Baptista took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Raimundo Castulo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Nesor sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Argentino de Banfield had won after a very even match.
