Guga Tavares took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mario Jardeløv, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 12 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goalkeeper 김 담 had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pedrão Mello. In the 18th match minute, New Loser FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Vito Melo to maneuver through the defense. Mario Jardeløv scored 0-2 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Guga Tavares, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 김 담 took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tony Angelsø, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 47th minute, Arvin Larsson hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-2.

A collision led to New Loser FC getting a freekick after 53 minutes play. Maurinho da Silva hit a great ball. 김 담 made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Tony Angelsø in the 54th minute of play. Mexilhão F. C.'s Guga Tavares played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mario Jardeløv in the 64th minute of play. In the 66th minute Edson Recife shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but 김 담 saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The corner ended in Anaia Barba almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but New Loser FC's 김 담 did a great save. Guga Tavares stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Mario Jardeløv's shot from short distance in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mario Jardeløv in the 72nd minute of play forced Mexilhão F. C.'s goalkeeper Guga Tavares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 74 minutes, Mario Jardeløv managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. New Loser FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mario Jardeløv was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 76 minutes into the match, New Loser FC's goal looked a bit too open when Edson Recife came free, but 김 담 reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mario Jardeløv received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Guga Tavares tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 김 담 showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Edson Recife in the 96th minute of the match.

When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. New Loser FC had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
