Ilija Skugor came out of the goal in the 15th minute to try and stop a shot by Jacksonville FC's Zé Roberto Costa. But to his dismay, Zé Roberto Costa quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Zé Roberto Costa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ilija Skugor came out and tried to block the shot, but Zé Roberto Costa slotted it home off the left post making it 3-1 in the 21st minute. 23 minutes into the match, Croatia's goal looked a bit too open when Gaël Gault came free, but Ilija Skugor reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When the match had gone on for 27 minutes, Taylor Wiley took a quick shot and it went in 5-1 without a chance for Ilija Skugor to make any attempt to save it. Martin Bosak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 33rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Jacksonville FC were furious when Ross Holliday was red carded, 36 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. Ross Holliday kicked well hit freekick during the 37th minute of the match. Ilija Skugor was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Roberto Gorman showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 6-1 in the 42 minute of play. Jacksonville FC's Nikolas Papadamous played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Damir Pongrac in the 47th minute of play. Af the end of the first half the score was 6-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Toni Mauzer to make the kick off. Gaël Gault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 53rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 56 minutes into the match, Jacksonville FC's goalkeeper Nikolas Papadamous had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damir Pongrac. Nikolas Papadamous made a fantastic save in the 61st minute, when Toni Mauzer sent off a good shot on target. Ilija Skugor was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Gaël Gault sent away a hard shot on goal in the 78th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. Jacksonville FC's Gaël Gault got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 87 minutes into the match, Jacksonville FC's goalkeeper Nikolas Papadamous had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Toni Mauzer. Ray King's late challenge caught a Croatia's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ray King helped the player get up and apologised. In the 88th minute, Ray King hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Jacksonville FC's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
