Orrefors's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Adilson Andrade was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-0. Eleuterio Galo scored 2-0 in the 9th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marko Bergkvist, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. With his leg Marko Bergkvist managed to avoid a goal in the 12thth minute, when Santos City's Eleuterio Galo fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Eleuterio Galo in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marko Bergkvist saved Orrefors from getting behind. Marko Bergkvist stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Eleuterio Galo's shot from short distance in the 16th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Santos City's Adilson Andrade slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Marko Bergkvist. That made the score 3-0 after 18 minutes of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 20th minute, Caco Dionísio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Santos City's supporters rose to their feet, but Caco Dionísio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marko Bergkvist breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marko Bergkvist made a fantastic save in the 23rd minute, when Eleuterio Galo sent off a good shot on target. The crowd rose to their feet as Adilson Andrade kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Marko Bergkvist. That made the score 4-0 in the 25 minute of play. With an all-out effort, Santos City's Marko Bergkvist threw himself towards the right post 28 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Caner Timurhan, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. In the 32nd minute, Santos City's Eleuterio Galo ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Marko Bergkvist. Marko Bergkvist yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 6-0. When the match clock showed 39 minutes, the score became 7-0 when Eleuterio Galo sped through Orrefors's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Marko Bergkvist. Eleuterio Galo could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 43rd minute of the match, but Marko Bergkvist made a huge save. 44 minutes into the match, Orrefors's goal looked a bit too open when Caner Timurhan came free, but Marko Bergkvist reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gregorio Eleder in the 45th minute of play forced Santos City's goalkeeper Rogelio Aurken to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Santos City booed when Orrefors was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 46 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stig Jakobsson didn't get a good kick on the ball. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 7-0 at half-time.

Rune Jansson kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. Alexsandro Dionísio, 52 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Marko Bergkvist didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Andrade went, in the 55th minute, to the upper right corner, 8-0 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Caner Timurhan in the 61st minute of play forced Orrefors's goalkeeper Marko Bergkvist to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Rogelio Aurken made an important save on a dangerous shot by Stig Hultin in the 62nd minute. Gregorio Eleder made a great header on Orrefors's corner, it was just that Santos City's Rogelio Aurken managed to reach the ball for a save. When Santos City's Eleuterio Galo in the 66th minute got a chance for a shot 66th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Michael Christoffersson recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 79th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Orrefors made a substitution. Einar Hylander replaced Andréas Edström. Marko Bergkvist showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eleuterio Galo in the 82nd minute of the match. Eleuterio Galo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After a rather tough play, Santos City's Sidney Albuquerque got a free kick in the 91st minute. Rogelio Aurken made a fantastic save in the 92nd minute, when Michael Christoffersson sent off a good shot on target. A collision led to Orrefors getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Hamílton Marinho hit a great ball. Marko Bergkvist took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valério Galvão, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 96th minute Valério Galvão shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marko Bergkvist saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Santos City's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
