Scotland 1873's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. Naldo Mesquita kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. In the 16th minute the ball was on its way in behind Scotland 1873's goalkeeper Breno Bastos, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 18 minutes into the match, Fúria Amadora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Ermegildo Leocadio came free, but Dito Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After having played for 21 minutes, Álvaro Baldaia managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fúria Amadora FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Álvaro Baldaia was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Ermegildo Leocadio could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but Dito Tinoco made a huge save. Breno Bastos stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Cosme González's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. Fúria Amadora FC were awarded a corner in the 29th minute after Scotland 1873's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Cosme González took the corner. A well-hit corner resulted in Bican Koçak heading the ball towards the goal, but to his dismay he misdirected it and missed the goal completely. 38 minutes in the game, Leonel Gonzo fired away an excellent shot, which passed to the side of the right post without Dito Tinoco having to interfere. When Ermegildo Leocadio fell near the penalty area in the 42nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Scotland 1873's protests and gave Ermegildo Leocadio a yellow card for diving instead. Leonel Gonzo received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dito Tinoco came out and tried to block the shot, but Leonel Gonzo slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 44th minute.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Casimiro Arixo to strike the kick off in the second half. If Bican Koçak had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 51st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Fúria Amadora FC's Dito Tinoco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ermegildo Leocadio in the 54th minute of play. Dito Tinoco showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ermegildo Leocadio, who was totally free with the ball in the 60th minute. Bican Koçak in the 64thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Breno Bastos, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. When Cosme González came up free with the goalie in the 66th minute, the Fúria Amadora FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cosme González couldn't finish the play. Álvaro Baldaia hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. After 70 played minutes Fúria Amadora FC got a freekick which was hit by Bican Koçak. Dito Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Casimiro Arixo in the 71st minute of the match. Godofredo Cordera hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leonel Gonzo in the 78th minute of play forced Fúria Amadora FC's goalkeeper Dito Tinoco to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Scotland 1873 booed when Fúria Amadora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 83 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Álvaro Baldaia kicked well hit freekick during the 85th minute of the match. After a rather tough play, Fúria Amadora FC's Naldo Mesquita got a free kick in the 88th minute. Bican Koçak sent away a hard shot on goal in the 91st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bican Koçak received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 94th minute. Breno Bastos tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.
