The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 2nd match minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Paulo Netto to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Osvaldo Berger threw the ball into play from the sideline. Fúria Amadora FC's Abelardo Mineiro quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. 8 minutes into the match, Abelardo Mineiro dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of João Pedro das Neves, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Zeus Lewandowski got a free kick in the 10th minute. João Pedro das Neves didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Álvaro Baldaia went, in the 12th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Dito Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th minute Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF were awarded a corner. Fabrício Dionísio went to the cornerflag to take it. 20 minutes into the match, Fabrício Dionísio notched a goal, 2-1, to the right of Fúria Amadora FC's Dito Tinoco. Dito Tinoco was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the game, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Dito Tinoco made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-2. Dito Tinoco took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Fabrício Dionísio, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cosme González could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 34th minute of the match, but João Pedro das Neves made a huge save. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dorival Alvarenga in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dito Tinoco saved Fúria Amadora FC from getting behind. In the 45th minute of the match Fabrício Dionísio shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Dito Tinoco showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dorival Alvarenga to make the kick off. Natã Figueiredo kicked well hit freekick during the 51st minute of the match. If Dorival Alvarenga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 56 minutes into the game, Fúria Amadora FC's Álvaro Baldaia nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-2. The supporters of Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF booed when Fúria Amadora FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 58 match minutes in a wonderful position. Natã Figueiredo didn't get a good kick on the ball. 59 minutes into the match, Fúria Amadora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Alvarenga came free, but Dito Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Dito Tinoco showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marcus de Godoi in the 69th minute of the match. João Pedro das Neves came out of the goal in the 70th minute to try and stop a shot by Fúria Amadora FC's Bican Koçak. But to his dismay, Bican Koçak quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 6-2. Álvaro Baldaia blasted a shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without João Pedro das Neves having to make a save. Evan Vella charged in rather forcefully in the 76th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Evan Vella the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 76th minute, Evan Vella hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Fúria Amadora FC getting a freekick after 81 minutes play. Álvaro Baldaia hit a great ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Dorival Alvarenga in the 82nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Dito Tinoco prevented the ball from getting in the gole. In the 85th minute, Álvaro Baldaia made a precise shot to the right of João Pedro das Neves. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 7-2. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Yancho Beykov quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Naldo Mesquita, made in the 90th minute of the game. João Pedro das Neves made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cosme González in the 92nd minute of play. 93 minutes into the match, Fúria Amadora FC's goal looked a bit too open when Dorival Alvarenga came free, but Dito Tinoco reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mons Ter's late challenge caught a Fúria Amadora FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mons Ter helped the player get up and apologised. Cosme González fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 95th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without João Pedro das Neves having to interfere. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Fúria Amadora FC fully deserved thier win.
