When Santos City's Caco Dionísio in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye 永远有多远's goalie prevented a goal. After 16 played minutes 永远有多远 got a freekick which was hit by A.J. Oad. Adilson Andrade could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 23rd minute of the match, but Liu Jun made a huge save. 26 minutes into the match, 永远有多远's goal looked a bit too open when Adilson Andrade came free, but Liu Jun reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. With a little luck, 永远有多远's Liu Jun got control of the ball when Eleuterio Galo tried to sneak it across the goal line. Alexsandro Dionísio ran over to the corner to take the kick. 永远有多远's Liu Jun played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adilson Andrade in the 47th minute of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

In the 62nd minute Adilson Andrade shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Liu Jun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 91 minutes, Caco Dionísio mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Santos City and the 永远有多远 players grew even worse after the yellow card. Caco Dionísio hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. After 95 minutes of play, Santos City's Adilson Andrade made it 2-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Liu Jun was left in no man's land by his defense there!
