Chico Răica stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Stanley St Clair's shot from short distance in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes Esporte Clube Zeus's defender was forced to head the ball over the line for a corner. It was Bertil Winström who took care of the corner kick. A nice corner shot did that Bozkurt Tanyıldız got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Chico Răica quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 15thth minute of the game Stanley St Clair who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Esporte Clube Zeus's Chico Răica was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 17th minute, Sümer Müjdat hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Chico Răica showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Stanley St Clair in the 19th minute of the match. Esporte Clube Zeus's Chico Răica proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 23rd minute of the match, managed to save Esporte Clube Zeus from getting a goal against them. If Stanley St Clair had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With an all-out effort, Gençlerbirliği's Chico Răica threw himself towards the right post 27 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Stanley St Clair, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Stanley St Clair made a kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 50th minute, Stanley St Clair managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gençlerbirliği's supporters rose to their feet, but Stanley St Clair was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Chico Răica breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stanley St Clair fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 70th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Chico Răica having to interfere. Chico Răica showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stanley St Clair, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute.
