Prospero Elivareo dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Panos Karkantos sent away a hard shot on goal in the 17th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Paul Christini showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alejandro Selatse in the 21st minute of the match. Betinho Damião scored 0-3 in the 24th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Elivareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Panos Karkantos's late challenge caught a Red Bull Villenhallen's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Panos Karkantos helped the player get up and apologised. In the 26th minute, Panos Karkantos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Christini acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 27th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Inocencio Celino. Ernesto Fontes received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 30th minute. Prospero Elivareo tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Betinho Damião ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Prospero Elivareo was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. Edson Futebol Clube's Heleno de Freitas quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Narciso Xabier, made in the 37th minute of the game. 39 minutes into the game, Edson Futebol Clube's Alim Karaman nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Prospero Elivareo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-5. Heleno de Freitas scored 0-6 in the 42nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Prospero Elivareo, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-6 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Betinho Damião was the one to do the kick off. After some careless play in the Red Bull Villenhallen defense, Alim Karaman kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Prospero Elivareo. The Red Bull Villenhallen fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Prospero Elivareo should have stopped the shot. In the 54th minute, Red Bull Villenhallen's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alim Karaman fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. The crowd rose to their feet as Edson Futebol Clube's Heleno de Freitas slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Prospero Elivareo. That made the score 0-8 after 57 minutes of play. Martin Kusko's late challenge caught a Edson Futebol Clube's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Martin Kusko helped the player get up and apologised. 63 minutes into the match, Red Bull Villenhallen's goal looked a bit too open when Tao Xing Yong came free, but Prospero Elivareo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Prospero Elivareo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Panos Karkantos in the 72nd minute. Red Bull Villenhallen's Prospero Elivareo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Red Bull Villenhallen from getting a goal against them. Enrique Montrell kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. Edson Futebol Clube's Tao Xing Yong shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 75th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Prospero Elivareo but with some difficulty. With a little luck, Red Bull Villenhallen's Prospero Elivareo got control of the ball when Ernesto Fontes tried to sneak it across the goal line. 85 minutes into the match, Red Bull Villenhallen's goalkeeper Prospero Elivareo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Panos Karkantos. In the 89th minute, Panos Karkantos left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Edson Futebol Clube fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-10. Red Bull Villenhallen's defense didn't have a chance, in the 94th minute, when Panos Karkantos scored to the left of an out of position Prospero Elivareo, making the score, 0-11. When the final whistle sounded Edson Futebol Clube left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Red Bull Villenhallen.
