Genko Balevski started the match with the kick off. Iker Hidalgo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Wágner Breckenfeld, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ferid Eker received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Melquiades Amor tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Melquiades Amor made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ferid Eker in the 16th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Velho Barreiro FC's zone, Genko Balevski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iker Hidalgo came out of the goal and Genko Balevski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Naldo Guerra sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ferid Eker in the 21st minute of play. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Melquiades Amor played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Naldo Guerra in the 22nd minute of play. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ferid Eker in the 23rd minute of the match. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Genko Balevski in the 24th minute of play. Melquiades Amor didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Zico Galo went, in the 33rd minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's defense didn't have a chance, in the 40th minute, when Zico Galo scored to the left of an out of position Melquiades Amor, making the score, 3-0. Genko Balevski recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 43rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 44 minutes into the match, Velho Barreiro FC's Ferid Eker sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Melquiades Amor narrowly saved just below the crossbar. If Genko Balevski had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Af the end of the first half the score was 3-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

In the 51st minute Ferid Eker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Melquiades Amor showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Zico Galo in the 53rd minute of the match. In the 54th minute Genko Balevski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hulk Fenomeno, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. After a rather tough play, CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's Du got a free kick in the 58th minute. After 59 played minutes, Velho Barreiro FC's Lovis Wefers shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Melquiades Amor came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Velho Barreiro FC reached it. 60 minutes into the match, Zico Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Melquiades Amor. CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zico Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 4-0. In the 63rd minute Ferid Eker shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Melquiades Amor saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Velho Barreiro FC made a substitution. Edmílson Cosme replaced Ferid Eker. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edmílson Cosme in the 74th minute of play forced CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA's goalkeeper Melquiades Amor to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Melquiades Amor made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Edmílson Cosme in the 75th minute of play. Du kicked well hit freekick during the 81st minute of the match. After having played for 91 minutes, Ciro Montenegro managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Velho Barreiro FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ciro Montenegro was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 93rd minute, Beto Hoffmann hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Beto Hoffmann hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. When Lovis Wefers came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Velho Barreiro FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Lovis Wefers couldn't finish the play. Velho Barreiro FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of CDS BUCANEIROS PAULISTA for a fine match.
