In the 10th minute of the match, Victor Luis tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Nico Furlan saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 13 minutes had been played when some careless play by Velho Barreiro FC's defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Dráusio Garcia was slow to take the kick. During this time DENVER™'s players had a chance to rest. DENVER™'s Dráusio Garcia was first on the ball when the corner was shot and he dangerously headed the ball towards goal, but Iker Hidalgo in the goal jumped up to prevent it from getting in. In the 14th minute Washington Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ferid Ekers short, quick shot in the 15thth minute got Nico Furlan to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Ferid Eker's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Nico Furlan firmly grabbed it by the left post. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. William Magalhães hit a great ball. Dráusio Garcia hit a great freekick 26 minutes into the match. DENVER™'s Nico Furlan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 30th minute of the match, managed to save DENVER™ from getting a goal against them. Iker Hidalgo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Washington Lira, who was totally free with the ball in the 37th minute. In the 38th minute Washington Lira shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iker Hidalgo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. William Magalhães kicked well hit freekick during the 39th minute of the match. After 43 played minutes DENVER™ got a freekick which was hit by Dráusio Garcia. If Washington Lira had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. Nico Furlan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-0.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Washington Lira to strike the kick off in the second half. Eric Burdon hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. 57 minutes into the match, Zico Galo had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nico Furlan. DENVER™'s manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Zico Galo was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Zico Galo in the 60th minute of play forced DENVER™'s goalkeeper Nico Furlan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 66 minutes into the match, DENVER™'s goal looked a bit too open when Ferid Eker came free, but Nico Furlan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, DENVER™'s Joel Lima got a free kick in the 69th minute. Velho Barreiro FC made a substitution. Edmílson Cosme replaced Ferid Eker. A collision led to DENVER™ getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Joel Lima hit a great ball. Velho Barreiro FC's Iker Hidalgo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 74th minute of the match, managed to save Velho Barreiro FC from getting a goal against them. Velho Barreiro FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Lovis Wefers in the 82nd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Délio Campidelis kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iker Hidalgo. That made the score 3-1 in the 84 minute of play. Iker Hidalgo made an important save on a dangerous shot by Délio Campidelis in the 93rd minute. Nico Furlan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Edmílson Cosme, who was totally free with the ball in the 95th minute. Velho Barreiro FC's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
