An unexpectedly hard shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia in the 7th minute of play forced Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Caskinha Esporte Clube were awarded a corner in the 11th minute after Paranhos Ariranha FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Alfredão Mazza took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Alfredão Mazza got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Gaspar Gilesindo quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. 13 minutes into the match, Caskinha Esporte Clube's goal looked a bit too open when Cristóvão Mattos came free, but Leandro Neves reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Paranhos Ariranha FC's goalkeeper Gaspar Gilesindo had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Luiz Eduardo Tróia. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Hottiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Gilesindo was out of position in the 22 minute of play, and Luiz Eduardo Tróia capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Luiz Eduardo Tróia really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. Cristóvão Mattos fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Neves having to interfere. Eldad Stock could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 35th minute of the match, but Gaspar Gilesindo made a huge save. Leandro Neves came out of the goal in the 37th minute to try and stop a shot by Paranhos Ariranha FC's Cristóvão Mattos. But to his dismay, Cristóvão Mattos quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-1. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emanuele Hottiger, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Gaspar Poças hit a great freekick 43 minutes into the match. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Denílson Barros was substituted for Gernando Cardozo. João Francisco Fontes hit a great freekick 47 minutes into the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristóvão Mattos to make the kick off. Leandro Neves showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Emanuele Hottiger, who was totally free with the ball in the 55th minute. Luiz Eduardo Tróia sent away a hard shot on goal in the 58th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Caskinha Esporte Clube's Leandro Neves proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Caskinha Esporte Clube from getting a goal against them. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristóvão Mattos, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 75th minute, Emanuele Hottiger ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Leandro Neves was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Emanuele Hottiger fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Leandro Neves having to interfere. Gaspar Gilesindo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Iván Zamorano, who was totally free with the ball in the 89th minute. Amos Škarpa hit a great freekick 90 minutes into the match. Leandro Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Abel Maia, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Leandro Neves stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Emanuele Hottiger's shot from short distance in the 94th minute. When the match was over Paranhos Ariranha FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Caskinha Esporte Clube throughout the match.
