In the 9thth minute of the game Evandro Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaratimon's Márcio Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The crowd rose to their feet as Noel Guedes kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Wilson Freire. That made the score 1-0 in the 16 minute of play. In the 19th match minute, Guaratimon was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Noel Guedes to maneuver through the defense. Guaratimon's Márcio Nóbrega played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Evandro Fantini in the 22nd minute of play. In the 23rd minute, Gilvan Gerber hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After having played for 24 minutes, Dário Peixoto managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. The CENZI fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-1. Evandro Fantini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Márcio Nóbrega having to interfere. Dário Peixoto struck a weak shot in the 33rd minute. Márcio Nóbrega didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for CENZI. 34 minutes into the match, CENZI's goal looked a bit too open when Augusto Pernambucano came free, but Wilson Freire reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 37 minutes into the match, Augusto Pernambucano dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Wilson Freire, 2-1. In the 40th minute Augusto Pernambucano shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Wilson Freire saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 43rdth minute of the game Augusto Pernambucano who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but CENZI's Wilson Freire was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. When the match clock showed 47 minutes, the score became 2-2 when Evandro Fantini sped through Guaratimon's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Márcio Nóbrega.
With a little luck, Guaratimon's Márcio Nóbrega got control of the ball when Dário Peixoto tried to sneak it across the goal line. When Fabinho Santos fell near the penalty area in the 54th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Guaratimon's protests and gave Fabinho Santos a yellow card for diving instead. Fabinho Santos hit a great freekick 54 minutes into the match. In the 69thth minute of the game Evandro Fantini who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Guaratimon's Márcio Nóbrega was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Dário Peixoto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 70th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. CENZI's Evandro Fantini was standing unmarked in front of the goal when he, in the 79th play minute, got the ball and easily drilled it into the goal. After a rather tough play, Guaratimon's Noel Guedes got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Guaratimon's Márcio Nóbrega proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 85th minute of the match, managed to save Guaratimon from getting a goal against them. In the 88th minute, Guaratimon's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Evandro Fantini fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. CENZI's Caetano Alcântara couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 98th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Guaratimon. The Guaratimon supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching CENZI's performance. The match ended with a win for CENZI.
