After a rather tough play, Racing Club's Oscar Mederi got a free kick in the 3rd minute. 6 minutes into the game, Hungary's Major Barna nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Diego Laurentzi made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Diego Laurentzi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hegedus Henrik in the 9th minute of the match. Hungary's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Antal Valentin in the 10th minute. The corner went over the outstretched arms of Racing Club's goalie and right to Takacs Tibor. He fired away a shot at goal, but the shot had too much spin, and it went just outside the goal. Racing Club's manager breathed a sigh of relief on the sidelines as his team had managed to escape an almost certain goal. Major Barna received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 13th minute. Diego Laurentzi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marcial Marin succeeded in the game's 18th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. In the 21st minute, Anselmo Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 24 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Diego Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Racing Club's Diego Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Balazs Lajos in the 27th minute of play. Antal Valentin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Diego Laurentzi having to interfere. Ildefonso Erlantz came free with the goalkeeper in the 31st minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Fodor Daniel could save by the left post. Racing Club's Diego Laurentzi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Takacs Tibor in the 32nd minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 35th minute of play forced Racing Club's goalkeeper Diego Laurentzi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Diego Laurentzi didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Major Barna went, in the 36th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. A collision led to Racing Club getting a freekick after 43 minutes play. Anselmo Nafarroa hit a great ball. 47 minutes into the match, Racing Club's goal looked a bit too open when Antal Valentin came free, but Diego Laurentzi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Antal Valentin to make the kick off. Diego Laurentzi was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Major Barna showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-3 in the 53 minute of play. An unexpected shot in the 56th minute by Antal Valentin got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Balazs Lajos hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. When Marcial Marin came up free with the goalie in the 59th minute, the Racing Club fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Marcial Marin couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 60th minute, Ildefonso Erlantz managed to get in a good position for a shot. Racing Club's supporters rose to their feet, but Ildefonso Erlantz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fodor Daniel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Diego Laurentzi in the 66th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. With his leg Diego Laurentzi managed to avoid a goal in the 71stth minute, when Hungary's Antal Valentin fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After a defensive mix-up in Hungary's zone, Ildefonso Erlantz stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fodor Daniel came out of the goal and Ildefonso Erlantz tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. If Major Barna had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 79th minute, Anselmo Nafarroa hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hegedus Henrik could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 81st minute of the match, but Diego Laurentzi made a huge save. The audience thought a goal was coming when Antal Valentin got free with Diego Laurentzi in the 84th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcial Marin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fodor Daniel having to interfere. Diego Laurentzi made a fantastic save in the 93rd minute, when Major Barna sent off a good shot on target. Hungary played a much better game than Racing Club and deserved their victory. The Racing Club players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
