Through an outstanding action, after 30 minutes, Keld Paulsen successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. A collision led to Fc Bielany getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Jurand Mockiewicz hit a great ball. The Fc Bielany players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Denmark were winning 0-1.

Bjarne Kirkegaard was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 48th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Daniel Czajka stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Chris Nygaard's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Ercole Restaino prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The audience thought a goal was coming when Bertram Svenningsen got free with Ercole Restaino in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Chris Nygaard did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 0-3 to the left of a surprised Ercole Restaino 96 minutes into the match. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. Denmark had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
