Seating: 9, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Frank Peletier kicked off to start the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 5th minute, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot. France's supporters rose to their feet, but Frank Peletier was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Stefan Österlund breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Stefan Österlund showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Camille Baume in the 7th minute of the match. In the 9th minute Camille Baume shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Stefan Österlund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sepsi OSK getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Cristi Ielciu hit a great ball. Stefan Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from David Barbier, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. Stefan Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Leon Kasprzak in the 20th minute of play forced France's goalkeeper Maxime Durand to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.
The supporters of France booed when Sepsi OSK was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 51 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnaba Bartochowski didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Sepsi OSK's Cristi Ielciu got a free kick in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in France's zone, Barnaba Bartochowski stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Maxime Durand came out of the goal and Barnaba Bartochowski tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 63rd minute Barnaba Bartochowski shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Maxime Durand saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet as Camille Baume kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Stefan Österlund. That made the score 2-2 in the 68 minute of play. When Frank Peletier came up free with the goalie in the 71st minute, the France fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frank Peletier couldn't finish the play. Stefan Österlund showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Frank Peletier, who was totally free with the ball in the 73rd minute. Maxime Durand stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Leon Kasprzak's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. A collision led to Sepsi OSK getting a freekick after 79 minutes play. Ivan Prelipceanu hit a great ball. After having played for 84 minutes, Frank Peletier managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. France's supporters crossed their fingers, but Frank Peletier was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Sepsi OSK's Stefan Österlund got control of the ball when Frank Peletier tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Frank Peletier got free with Stefan Österlund in the 88th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Sepsi OSK's Stefan Österlund played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Camille Baume in the 91st minute of play. Stefan Österlund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Camille Baume, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The Sepsi OSK fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. France were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
