When Oliver Holub came up free with the goalie in the 4th minute, the Slovakia fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Oliver Holub couldn't finish the play. Matko Ivanjko came out of the goal in the 7th minute to try and stop a shot by Slovakia's Metod Mlynar. But to his dismay, Metod Mlynar quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Metod Mlynar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Metod Mlynar took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Matko Ivanjko. Matko Ivanjko dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Metod Mlynar in the 31st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Matko Ivanjko saved IFK Blowitt from getting behind. A collision led to IFK Blowitt getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Sune Örtendahl hit a great ball. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 34 minutes play. Zigmund Maliar hit a great ball. Aaron Jerico, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Metod Mlynar charged in rather forcefully in the 38th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Metod Mlynar the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of IFK Blowitt booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 38 match minutes in a wonderful position. Metod Mlynar didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-2 lead.

In the 51st minute the ball was on its way in behind IFK Blowitt's goalkeeper Matko Ivanjko, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Matko Ivanjko made a fantastic save in the 55th minute, when Metod Mlynar sent off a good shot on target. Slovakia's Metod Mlynar got a good chance for a goal in the 57th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Henrich Slany made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Örjan Fastesson in the 58th minute of play. In the 62nd match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Zigmund Maliar to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Slovakia getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Daniel Suchy hit a great ball. In the 73rd match minute, Slovakia was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Kornel Jahoda to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of IFK Blowitt booed when Slovakia was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 74 match minutes in a wonderful position. Kornel Jahoda didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th minute, Aaron Jerico left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. Chants of Slovakia echoed around the stadium as the match drew to a close. Supporters and players were both delighted with the win, as IFK Blowitt had held the ball for most of the match.
