The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. That made the score 1-1 after 20 minutes of play. 25 minutes into the game, Hegedus Henrik cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Germán Burgos was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Antal Valentin in the 38th minute of play forced Guns Reds's goalkeeper Germán Burgos to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Germán Burgos made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Major Barna in the 39th minute of play. Fodor Daniel showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eutropio Alcubilla in the 40th minute of the match. The supporters of Guns Reds booed when Hungary was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Szekeres Tamas didn't get a good kick on the ball. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 1-2 lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Miroslav Kučera made a kick off. When Miroslav Kučera came up free with the goalie in the 51st minute, the Guns Reds fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Miroslav Kučera couldn't finish the play. 58 minutes into the game, Miroslav Kučera cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Fodor Daniel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 71 minutes, Eutropio Alcubilla managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Guns Reds's supporters crossed their fingers, but Eutropio Alcubilla was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 71st minute, Alesander Labarra hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hungary's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Guns Reds the free kick. After 86 played minutes Hungary got a freekick which was hit by Szekeres Tamas. Hungary's Fodor Daniel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eutropio Alcubilla in the 88th minute of play.
