Jacco Heesen showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Teobaldo Frasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 45th minute. Mariano Oihan received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 47th minute. Jacco Heesen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Santo Muno made a kick off. Cayetano Frans made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Olof Wesseling in the 51st minute of play. With an all-out effort, Young Boys Enschede's Cayetano Frans threw himself towards the right post 65 minutes into the match and grabbed hold of the ball from Olof Wesseling, which otherwise would have been placed in the net. An unexpectedly hard shot by Santo Muno in the 67th minute of play forced Young Boys Enschede's goalkeeper Jacco Heesen to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 68th play minute Mark de Zwaan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Cayetano Frans. 0-3. Cayetano Frans was a little too slow when Olof Wesseling got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 72nd minute. The score was now 0-4. 77 minutes into the game, Mark de Zwaan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Cayetano Frans was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Igor Qwinton's late challenge caught a Young Boys Enschede's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Igor Qwinton helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, The Big Bang Team Jr.'s Igor Qwinton got a free kick in the 87th minute. Mark de Zwaan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Cayetano Frans having to interfere. The The Big Bang Team Jr. fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Young Boys Enschede were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
