Hedemora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave AC Metropol the free kick. The supporters of AC Metropol booed when Hedemora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elof Sandberg didn't get a good kick on the ball. A collision led to Hedemora getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Elof Sandberg hit a great ball. AC Metropol's Luiz Eduardo Pinho shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 12th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Bengt-Rune Petersson but with some difficulty. Per-Oskar Hellström sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 17th minute, Eusébio Paraíba left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AC Metropol fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. In the 21st minute, Eusébio Paraíba reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Bengt-Rune Petersson. The goal made the score 3-0. With a little luck, Hedemora's Bengt-Rune Petersson got control of the ball when Big Machado tried to sneak it across the goal line. Big Machado might have been able to make a better finish in the 36th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Bengt-Rune Petersson. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Big Machado ran back to his position shaking his head. Jarbas Azevedo received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Bengt-Rune Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bengt-Rune Petersson was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Eusébio Paraíba showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-0 in the 42 minute of play. Eusébio Paraíba scored 5-0 in the 45th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 5-0 at half-time.

Bengt-Rune Petersson was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Bengt-Rune Petersson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jarbas Azevedo, who was totally free with the ball in the 70th minute. After some careless play in the Hedemora defense, Luiz Eduardo Pinho kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson. The Hedemora fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bengt-Rune Petersson should have stopped the shot. When the match had gone on for 79 minutes, Eusébio Paraíba put it in 11-0 from a short distance just to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson. Eusébio Paraíba received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Bengt-Rune Petersson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 85th minute, Jarbas Azevedo made a precise shot to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson. Hedemora's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 12-0. In the 90thth minute of the game Eusébio Paraíba who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedemora's Bengt-Rune Petersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Bengt-Rune Petersson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Eusébio Paraíba in the 91st minute of the match.
