Tobias Isaksson scored 2-0 in the 8th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Per-Oskar Hellström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Östen Källberg having to interfere. After 21 played minutes Slussfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Sonny Ek. When Jonathan Salqvist fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Hedemora's protests and gave Jonathan Salqvist a yellow card for diving instead. In the 22nd match minute, Hedemora was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jonathan Salqvist to maneuver through the defense. After 25 played minutes Slussfors IK got a freekick which was hit by Tobias Isaksson. After a rather tough play, Hedemora's Elof Sandberg got a free kick in the 29th minute. After 30 minutes of play Hedemora's Jonathan Salqvist was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Jonathan Salqvist kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 33 minutes into the match, Tobias Isaksson had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Bengt-Rune Petersson. Hedemora's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tobias Isaksson was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Per-Oskar Hellström in the 47th minute of play forced Slussfors IK's goalkeeper Östen Källberg to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

Hedemora's Mathias Holmberg got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Mathias Holmberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 61st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 66th minute, Tobias Isaksson left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Slussfors IK fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 5-0. Bengt-Rune Petersson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Johnny Söderberg, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 70th minute, Björn Åhlberg got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Hedemora's Bengt-Rune Petersson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tobias Isaksson in the 74th minute of play. Mathias Holmberg took the ball and in the 77 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Östen Källberg. Östen Källberg dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 5-1. 80 minutes into the game, Lennart Holmgren was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Slussfors IK's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Hedemora the free kick. In the 80th minute, Lennart Holmgren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Per-Oskar Hellström managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedemora's supporters rose to their feet, but Per-Oskar Hellström was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Tobias Isaksson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 86th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Mathias Holmberg managed to get in a good position for a shot. Hedemora's supporters rose to their feet, but Mathias Holmberg was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Östen Källberg breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 95thth minute of the game Tobias Isaksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Hedemora's Bengt-Rune Petersson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Marc Skager during the 96th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card.
