In the 34th minute, Bryan Marant left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Esquirla FC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-3. The Esquirla FC fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Esquirla FC's Seppe Baert looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Bengt-Rune Petersson came out and tried to block the shot, but Alek Verdonckt slotted it home off the left post making it 0-7 in the 59th minute. After 62 minutes, Seppe Baert mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Esquirla FC and the Hedemora players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 62nd minute, Seppe Baert hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Hannes Hammarbäck charged in rather forcefully in the 63rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Hannes Hammarbäck the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 64 played minutes Hedemora got a freekick which was hit by Hannes Hammarbäck. Hedemora's Bengt-Rune Petersson proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 68th minute of the match, managed to save Hedemora from getting a goal against them. The goalkeeper, Bengt-Rune Petersson, was totally fooled by Esquirla FC's Niels Sterckx, who 89 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. Bengt-Rune Petersson yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-11. Esquirla FC played a much better game than Hedemora and deserved their victory. The Hedemora players were clearly disappointed as they left the ground.
