In the 26th minute, José Julio Dudagoitia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Esquirla FC's defense didn't have a chance, in the 56th minute, when Modesto Iriarte scored to the left of an out of position Niels Sterckx, making the score, 0-8. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alifonso Apablaza in the 63rd minute of play forced Esquirla FC's goalkeeper Niels Sterckx to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
