Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Tobias Isaksson started the match with the kick off. If Harmen Molhoek had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 2nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After having played for 5 minutes, Sonny Ek managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Slussfors IK's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sonny Ek was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tobias Isaksson might have been able to make a better finish in the 8th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Jacco Heesen. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Tobias Isaksson ran back to his position shaking his head. Olof Wesseling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 10th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 15 played minutes, Young Boys Enschede's Bjorn de Graaf shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Östen Källberg came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Young Boys Enschede reached it. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Olof Wesseling in the 16th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Östen Källberg saved Slussfors IK from getting behind. Govert Penders charged in rather forcefully in the 23rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Govert Penders the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. 26 minutes into the match, Olof Wesseling notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Slussfors IK's Östen Källberg. Östen Källberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. A collision led to Young Boys Enschede getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Govert Penders hit a great ball. Östen Källberg showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Olof Wesseling, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. Olof Wesseling recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 45th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Olof Wesseling made a kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Young Boys Enschede's goal looked a bit too open when Tobias Isaksson came free, but Jacco Heesen reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Olof Wesseling received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Östen Källberg came out and tried to block the shot, but Olof Wesseling slotted it home off the left post making it 0-2 in the 54th minute. After a rather tough play, Slussfors IK's Tommy Sundin got a free kick in the 59th minute. Young Boys Enschede's Ruben Spiering got a good chance for a goal in the 62nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 64th minute, Olof Wesseling fired away a shot on goal. He put a little to much spin on the ball and sent it just wide of the right post. In the 68thth minute of the game Tobias Isaksson who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Young Boys Enschede's Jacco Heesen was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Hugo Regueira during the 70th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Slussfors IK getting a freekick after 70 minutes play. Hugo Regueira hit a great ball. With 72 minutes on the clock, Leif Esbjörnsson commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. In a very dangerous position, a player in Slussfors IK fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 72nd minute. Penalty! When the match had been going on for 74 minutes, Young Boys Enschede's Ruben Spiering got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Östen Källberg. Matthijs Jaliens hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Young Boys Enschede's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
