In the 13th minute, Jan Söderström made a precise shot to the right of Everardo Mingo. Ac Milan's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Everardo Mingo took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Hjalmar Blixt, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A nice corner shot did that Demir Poradeci got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Andreas Isaksson quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. In the 34th minute Johan Brinck shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Everardo Mingo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Johan Brinck succeeded in the game's 36th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 2-0. When Maciej Kowalski came up free with the goalie in the 44th minute, the Ac Milan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maciej Kowalski couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

Maciej Kowalski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Andreas Isaksson having to interfere.
