Karl-Åke Kvist sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Svend Betz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 22nd minute of the match, but João Pedro das Neves made a huge save. Yancho Beykov charged in rather forcefully in the 24th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Yancho Beykov the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of FSX UNITED booed when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 24 match minutes in a wonderful position. Yancho Beykov didn't get a good kick on the ball. FSX UNITED's Karl-Åke Kvist couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 24th minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's João Pedro das Neves played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mircea Popilean in the 27th minute of play. After 31 played minutes Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Osvaldo Berger. In the 38th match minute, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Fabrício Dionísio to maneuver through the defense. After a rather tough play, FSX UNITED's Mircea Popilean got a free kick in the 43rd minute. FSX UNITED's Mircea Popilean quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Osvaldo Berger, made in the 44th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as FSX UNITED's Svend Betz slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of João Pedro das Neves. That made the score 2-0 after 46 minutes of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

53 minutes into the game, FSX UNITED's Svend Betz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. João Pedro das Neves made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-0. Osvaldo Berger got a throw-in 58 minutes in the game and the ball was received by Fabrício Dionísio. In the 59th minute, Thomas Cochrane left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FSX UNITED fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. After 67 played minutes Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF got a freekick which was hit by Paulo Netto. Amancio Baesler might have been able to make a better finish in the 68th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over João Pedro das Neves. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Amancio Baesler ran back to his position shaking his head. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF were furious when Mons Ter was red carded, 69 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 68th minute. Penalty! João Pedro das Neves took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Marcelo Salas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 75th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Amancio Baesler sent away a hard shot on goal in the 98th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. There was no doubt that FSX UNITED were the better team. FSX UNITED's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
