When Svend Betz came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the FSX UNITED fans jumped to their feet. In the 20th minute, Svend Betz ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Rogelio Aurken was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Rogelio Aurken didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Svend Betz went, in the 28th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Caco Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 30th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 32 minutes into the match, Santos City's goalkeeper Rogelio Aurken had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Svend Betz. Ye Wei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Adilson Andrade in the 33rd minute of the match. Svend Betz received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 34th minute. Rogelio Aurken tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rogelio Aurken was a little too slow when Svend Betz got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. Ye Wei didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Adilson Andrade went, in the 42nd minute, to the upper right corner, 3-1 was the resulting score. In the 47th minute, Caner Timurhan made a precise shot to the right of Ye Wei. FSX UNITED's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-2.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Eleuterio Galo to make the kick off. Ye Wei showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Caco Dionísio, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Rogelio Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Karl-Åke Kvist, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Svend Betz had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. With a little luck, FSX UNITED's Ye Wei got control of the ball when Adilson Andrade tried to sneak it across the goal line. Rogelio Aurken took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marcelo Salas, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
