The audience thought a goal was coming when Eleuterio Galo got free with Rogelio Dei in the 86th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 91st minute, Vinicio Ubarna hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rogelio Dei made a fantastic save in the 95th minute, when Eleuterio Galo sent off a good shot on target. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Santos City walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
