In the 6th minute Dorival Alvarenga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dušan Ančic saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Dorival Alvarenga sent away a hard shot on goal in the 8th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. 11 minutes into the match, Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's goal looked a bit too open when Sebastian Percival came free, but Zeus Lewandowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF defense, Sebastian Percival kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeus Lewandowski. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeus Lewandowski should have stopped the shot. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans' excitement grew in the 22nd match minute when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. If Fabrício Dionísio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Dušan Ančic took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorival Alvarenga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The crowd rose to their feet as Devon Howson kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Zeus Lewandowski. That made the score 2-1 in the 30 minute of play. If Sebastian Percival had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some careless play in the Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF defense, Devon Howson kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Zeus Lewandowski. The Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Zeus Lewandowski should have stopped the shot. In the 37th minute, Spike Foley made a precise shot to the right of Zeus Lewandowski. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. Sebastian Percival received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Zeus Lewandowski tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 44th minute Sebastian Percival shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Zeus Lewandowski saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 47th match minute, Club Atlético de Newell was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Arbi Newell to maneuver through the defense. Dorival Alvarenga struck a weak shot in the 48th minute. Dušan Ančic didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 4-1 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Sebastian Percival was the one to do the kick off. Dorotheos Kakatsios recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 52nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Fabrício Dionísio sent away a hard shot on goal in the 60th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Dušan Ančic managed to avoid a goal in the 65thth minute, when Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's Dorival Alvarenga fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After 81 minutes of play, Club Atlético de Newell's Devon Howson made it 6-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Zeus Lewandowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Fabrício Dionísio fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 89th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dušan Ančic having to interfere. 91 minutes into the match, Spike Foley had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Zeus Lewandowski. Onze Bravos FC - FDFDF's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Spike Foley was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-1. In the 95th minute, Yancho Beykov hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 97th minute, Sebastian Percival ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Zeus Lewandowski was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-1. Club Atlético de Newell's supporters were delighted with their team's performance and swarmed onto the pitch at the end of the match to celebrate the victory with the players.
