MARAZZINO's Lütfü Öktemer played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Zé Dos Reis in the 20th minute of play. MARAZZINO's Svetomir Maier quite brazenly broke a throw-in by Emrullah Zülfikar, made in the 23rd minute of the game. After 24 played minutes MARAZZINO got a freekick which was hit by Olgun Baroğlu. Lütfü Öktemer came out of the goal in the 27th minute to try and stop a shot by Türk Polis Gücü's Zé Dos Reis. But to his dismay, Zé Dos Reis quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-2. In the 31st minute, Olgun Baroğlu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 36 minutes into the match, MARAZZINO's Claudiu Răducanu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Edmund Dulemba narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Olgun Baroğlu hit a great freekick 45 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Olgun Baroğlu during the 46th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, MARAZZINO's Olgun Baroğlu got a free kick in the 46th minute. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Claudiu Răducanu was the one to do the kick off. In the 68thth minute of the game Claudiu Răducanu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Türk Polis Gücü's Edmund Dulemba was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Lütfü Öktemer showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Zé Dos Reis, who was totally free with the ball in the 72nd minute. MARAZZINO's Arman Miran was substituted for İshak Kurhan. Türk Polis Gücü's Poyraz Özkoc was substituted for Erhan Sarıoğlu. MARAZZINO made a substitution. Darío Benedetto replaced Tansel Öktürk. Edmund Dulemba stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ozan Atılay's shot from short distance in the 83rd minute. Zé Dos Reis's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lütfü Öktemer read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. A collision led to Türk Polis Gücü getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Yngve Lindqvist hit a great ball. Necdet Tibet charged in rather forcefully in the 91st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Necdet Tibet the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. The supporters of Türk Polis Gücü booed when MARAZZINO was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Necdet Tibet didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zé Dos Reis might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Lütfü Öktemer. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Zé Dos Reis ran back to his position shaking his head. Zé Dos Reis came free with the goalkeeper in the 92nd minute of the match, and shot straight on target. The shot was a little too simple and Lütfü Öktemer could save by the left post. Edmund Dulemba made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ozan Atılay in the 93rd minute of play. The Türk Polis Gücü supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Türk Polis Gücü would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
