With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Abel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 9 minutes play. Kaká Sampaio hit a great ball. Morro Grande E.C's Gláuber Brodel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernani Guimarães in the 11th minute of play. Siro Abel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Habib Ali Picavea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Morro Grande E.C's supporters crossed their fingers, but Habib Ali Picavea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Siro Abel came out of the goal in the 23rd minute to try and stop a shot by Morro Grande E.C's Habib Ali Picavea. But to his dismay, Habib Ali Picavea quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. Morro Grande E.C's Alfredinho Vieira got a good chance for a goal in the 25th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 27 minutes into the match, Sedex F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Meira came free, but Siro Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea in the 30th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sedex F.C's Geovânio Ribeiro got a free kick in the 32nd minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Habib Ali Picavea in the 33rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Siro Abel saved Sedex F.C from getting behind. When Ernani Guimarães fell near the penalty area in the 36th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Sedex F.C's protests and gave Ernani Guimarães a yellow card for diving instead. In the 36th minute, Ernani Guimarães hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Siro Abel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Habib Ali Picavea in the 37th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Habib Ali Picavea in the 43rd minute of play forced Sedex F.C's goalkeeper Siro Abel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Habib Ali Picavea in the 45th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Siro Abel prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 46 minutes into the match, Marcos Ramalho had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Siro Abel. Sedex F.C's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marcos Ramalho was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-4 lead.

55 minutes into the match, Sedex F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Meira came free, but Siro Abel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Siro Abel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Habib Ali Picavea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 59th minute, Toninho Grau managed to get in a good position for a shot. Morro Grande E.C's supporters rose to their feet, but Toninho Grau was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Siro Abel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Siro Abel stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Habib Ali Picavea's shot from short distance in the 63rd minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Morro Grande E.C's Marcos Ramalho slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Siro Abel. That made the score 0-5 after 65 minutes of play. Sedex F.C's Siro Abel proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Sedex F.C from getting a goal against them. With a little luck, Sedex F.C's Siro Abel got control of the ball when Habib Ali Picavea tried to sneak it across the goal line. Siro Abel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Habib Ali Picavea in the 79th minute. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ronaldinho Meira in the 85th minute a chance for a shot on goal. Habib Ali Picavea sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
