But to his dismay, Rogelio Lynch quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. In the 8th minute Rogelio Lynch shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 9 minutes into the match, Internazionale-RS's goal looked a bit too open when Ronaldinho Meira came free, but Stefan Neubrandt reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 10th minute Dany-Adams De Scheper shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 14th minute Alan Tavares shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gláuber Brodel saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the game, Internazionale-RS's Dany-Adams De Scheper nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Gláuber Brodel made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. After 19 played minutes Internazionale-RS got a freekick which was hit by Alan Tavares. Dany-Adams De Scheper scored 0-3 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 29th match minute, Morro Grande E.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Habib Ali Picavea to maneuver through the defense. Gláuber Brodel didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Alan Tavares went, in the 30th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-4 was the resulting score. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ronaldinho Meira in the 34th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rogelio Lynch in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gláuber Brodel saved Morro Grande E.C from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 37th minute, Rogelio Lynch managed to get in a good position for a shot. Internazionale-RS's supporters rose to their feet, but Rogelio Lynch was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gláuber Brodel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After some careless play in the Internazionale-RS defense, Habib Ali Picavea kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Stefan Neubrandt. The Internazionale-RS fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Stefan Neubrandt should have stopped the shot. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 1-4.

The wind increased when Rogelio Lynch made the kick off in the second half. Dany-Adams De Scheper might have been able to make a better finish in the 53rd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Gláuber Brodel. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Dany-Adams De Scheper ran back to his position shaking his head. Rogelio Lynch did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 1-5 to the left of a surprised Gláuber Brodel 53 minutes into the match. Rogelio Lynch fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gláuber Brodel having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Alan Tavares in the 64th minute of play forced Morro Grande E.C's goalkeeper Gláuber Brodel to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Tavares in the 66th minute of play. 70 minutes into the match, Morro Grande E.C's goal looked a bit too open when Rogelio Lynch came free, but Gláuber Brodel reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toninho Caca-Rato charged in rather forcefully in the 72nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Toninho Caca-Rato the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Morro Grande E.C getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Toninho Caca-Rato hit a great ball. Morro Grande E.C made a substitution. Hélder Velasco replaced Alfredinho Vieira. In the 73rd minute, Toninho Caca-Rato hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. During the 77th minute of the match Toninho Caca-Rato completely mistimed his tackle and brought down his opponent. The referee gave Toninho Caca-Rato a yellow card, his second in the match, which meant he could no longer take part in the game. Morro Grande E.C's Elói Penha was substituted for Marcos Ramalho. Toninho Caca-Rato kicked well hit freekick during the 79th minute of the match. Gláuber Brodel took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Rogelio Lynch, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Alan Tavares scored 1-6 in the 84th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Gláuber Brodel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Gláuber Brodel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alan Tavares in the 89th minute of play. Gláuber Brodel made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dany-Adams De Scheper in the 90th minute. Internazionale-RS were awarded a corner in the 92th minute after Morro Grande E.C's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Dany-Adams De Scheper took the corner. Stefan Neubrandt made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Hélder Velasco in the 93rd minute of play. Rogelio Lynch hit a great freekick 96 minutes into the match. The Morro Grande E.C fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Internazionale-RS were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
