The Remedios SC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bunda Lele should have stopped the shot. Reynaldo Astrada made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dom Fredon in the 20th minute. In the 21st minute, Dom Fredon hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Bunda Lele showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from João Augusto Barral in the 23rd minute of the match. Bunda Lele took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Robert Levandowsky, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Cui Xiang Zhen sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dom Fredon was slow to take the kick. During this time Remedios SC's players had a chance to rest. After taking down the ball on Remedios SC's corner Dom Fredon fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Reynaldo Astrada quite easily take care of the ball. Remedios SC's Bunda Lele played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by João Augusto Barral in the 76th minute of play.
